Seika. Exceptional ceremonial grade, first harvest. Dense umami, no bitterness.

Hiraki. Classic ceremonial grade. Straightforward, vegetal, at home in milk as well as water.

Saku. Superior culinary grade. A texture that holds up to heat and sugar.

The same dosage, the same water. 2g, 70ml at 75°C. The difference is then effortlessly clear.

Seika is considered pure in the bowl. Hiraki reveals its pure balance either on its own or in a latte, and Saku is best understood in a sweetened latte or to enhance your desserts.

Sift 2g. Pour in the 75-degree water. Whisk in a W-shape for about twenty seconds, until foamy.

10g and about 5 preparations per sachet. Reseal and refrigerate after opening.

the gesture

An hour of grinding for thirty grams.

Milling is the slowest step in the entire chain. Two granite millstones turn slowly so as not to heat the leaf.

three grades

The choice is not made on paper.

On a spec sheet, the difference between three grades is a few words. In a bowl, it's immediate.

Ten grams of each, prepared under the same conditions, a few minutes apart. You'll know which one is yours before you finish the third.

The first matcha I've ever drunk without bitterness. The difference compared to what I used to find in organic stores is incomparable.

I'd been drinking coffee for 10 years. Seika gradually became part of my routine without me realizing it. Now it sets the tone for my day.

All you need to know about our matchas.

Seika is our exceptional ceremonial grade: stone-ground Ichibancha, zero bitterness. Hiraki is the classic ceremonial, balanced and vegetal. Saku is the superior culinary grade, with a distinct flavor that holds up to cooking.

The origin does not change. The use and grade do.

Bitterness comes from inferior quality, water that is too hot, or excessive dosage. Our tea plants are shaded several weeks before harvesting. This technique concentrates L-theanine and reduces the tannins responsible for bitterness.

Our three matchas come from Uji, in the Kyoto region, the historical birthplace of matcha for over 800 years. Family farm, shading, hand-picking, stone-grinding. Only one harvest per year.

1g contains approximately 25 to 35mg of caffeine, the equivalent of a light espresso. 2g contains approximately 50 to 70mg, which is a classic coffee. L-theanine slows down caffeine absorption: stable energy for 4 to 6 hours, without peaks or crashes.

Sift 1g into a bowl. Add 70ml of water at a maximum of 75°C. Whisk in a W-shape for 15 to 20 seconds.

For a latte: whisk 1g with a little hot water, then top with 150ml of hot or cold milk.

No. An electric frother works very well for daily use. The main thing is to dissolve the powder well to avoid lumps.
